90/10 Copper Nickel Sheet offers excellent corrosion resistance even in marine environments. It possesses good creep resistance and average high strength and at high temperatures, and costs more in comparison to copper-aluminum alloys and other alloys with similar mechanical properties.C70600 Plate exhibits excellent resistance to impingement attack. It is also highly resistant to SCC. It is suitable for marine condenser tube installations in place of aluminum brass, especially where higher water velocities are encountered.Oxyacetylene welding, soldering, coated metal arc welding, brazing, gas shielded arc welding, butt welding spot welding and seam welding are considered as suitable for Copper Nickel Plate. The hot working capacity of Copper Nickel 90/10 Plate is good with the recommended hot working temperature ranging between 760 and 816°C.

Cuni 90/10 Sheet annealing temperature is between 593 and 816°C. It is primarily used for seawater service as machined and forged valve and pump components, fittings and hardware. Cuni 90/10 Plate is also used in applications where chloride stress-corrosion cracking precaution prevents usage of stainless steels and which requires high corrosion resistance.ASTM B122 UNS C70600 is a copper-nickel alloy that offers well resistant to stress corrosion.
