Copper Pipe

Copper Pipe

Copper Pipe is a copper alloy pipe used in various industrial and domestic applications. There are different grades, types, shapes and schedules of these pipes. There are commercially pure copper pipes as well as alloyed pipes. The Copper UNS C12200 Seamless Pipe is phosphorus deoxidized copper pipe. This is a special product mostly used in downspouts, flashing, gutter, roofing, air lines and hydraulic lines. There are seamless copper and Welded Copper Pipe types. The Copper Seamless Pipe has less absolute roughness which makes it high precision and the welded ones are stronger but less in precision of dimensions. The high precision in dimensions is required in precision applications such as condensers to correctly perform as per calculations. The pipes could be electric resistance welded to produce the Copper ERW Pipe or electric fusion welded to produce the Copper Alloy EFW Pipe. In either case, the weldability of the material is increased. There are different grades that come with different specifications. The commercially pure copper is expensive and contains up to 99% copper in the composition.
Oxygen Free Copper ERW and EFW Pipes stockist, also find ready stock of Welded Copper Pipes & Beryllium Copper Square Pipes

There is the Oxygen Free Copper Welded Pipe which reduces the corrosion risk and improves strength of the material. The different types such as S K and L are available in copper material. The Soft Copper Type K Hollow Pipe is used in applications that require thicker copper pipes. This is most used in domestic water lines. The Soft Copper Type L Round Pipe is the most used shape. There are other shapes such as the Beryllium Copper Square Pipe and rectangular pipes as well. These Cu material could be used as cladding material. Other corrosive metal pipes could be connected with the Alloy 110 Clad Pipe to make sure that the corrosion is minimized. The general applications include power generation plants, offshore oil and gas industries, ship and boat hulls and in desalination plants.

Aesteiron Steels LLP, is a copper pipe manufacturers in India. It is been manufactured by international standard quality parameters by guidance of our qualified technical team. We are also known as Copper Pipe supplier, and we have been supplying this material in various countries with good terms of delivery and services.

Copper Tubing is most frequently used for heating systems and as a refrigerant line in HVAC systems. It is slowly being replaced by PEX tubing in hot and cold water applications. There are two primary types of copper tubing i.e. rigid and soft copper. It is joined using compression connection, flare connection, solder or pressed connection.
Cooper Tube can be bent easily to travel around obstacles in the way of tube. While the work hardening of the drawing process which is been used to size the tubing makes the copper hard or rigid and it is properly annealed to make it soft again and hence it is more expensive to produce than non-annealed, rigid copper tubing. It can be joined by any of the three methods used for rigid copper, and it is the only type of copper tubing which is suitable for flare connections.
Ac Copper Pipe has high anti-corrosive properties. During the cooling process, it comes into contact with air which causes oxidation within the pipe. It handles better oxidation and corrosion for longer periods which ultimately provides air conditioners a longer lifetime.

Copper water pipes can oxidize, but it provides a higher level of corrosion resistance than many other metals. The copper properties of corrosion-resistant and rustproof allow water pipes made of this metal to use numerous years of use.
Among all the common types, Type K copper pipe has the thickest wall. It is useful for fire protection, water distribution, oil, HVAC, and in various other applications in construction industry.

Type L copper pipe is used for fire protection, interior plumbing, and some HVAC applications. It is available in flexible and rigid forms and it can be used with compression, sweat, and flare fittings.

Type M copper pipe is used most commonly for vacuum systems and domestic water service. It can be used with sweat, flare fittings and compression.
