C45 Carbon Steel Plates are an unalloyed medium carbon steel, which is known as a general carbon engineering steel. It is a medium strength steel with excellent tensile properties and good machinability. It can be move with hardening by means of quenching and tempering on restricted areas and focused.
c45 steelplates are generally supplied in the black hot rolled or occasionally in the normalised condition, with a typical tensile strength 570 – 700 Mpa and Brinell hardness 170 – 210 in either condition.
