Inconel 625 Tube
Inconel 625 Tube is a high performance nickel chromium molybdenum alloy that provides resistance to elevated temperatures and high strength properties. It exhibits remarkable protection against oxidation and corrosion.
Inconel 625 Tubing is mainly composed of nickel 58% min followed by chromium, and molybdenum, iron, niobium, cobalt, tantalum, and trace amounts of silicon, titanium manganese and aluminium.
Alloy 625 Tube is commonly known by the names Haynes 625, Nickelvac 625, Altemp 625, and Nicrofer 6020. Its strength lies not only in its nickel-chromium base but also the hardening mechanism of niobium and molybdenum. AMS 5581 Seamless Tube is strengthened by the interaction of niobium with molybdenum that provides high strength without the need for precipitation-hardening treatment.
Inconel 625 Seamless Tube tensile strength is 690 MPa, while its yield strength is 275 MPa. It withstands a wide range of temperature extremes from cryogenic to extremely high.
The unique combination of Alloy 625 grade 2 Tube components makes it highly resistant to corrosive substances. And due to this reason it works excellently under high saline seawater, and more so in milder environments such as standard atmospheric conditions and fresh water.
Alloy 625 grade 1 Tube has better weldability than other alloys. It has no signs of cracking when it is exposed to strain and temperature changes post-welding. B443 alloy 625 lcf has
high creep resistance and yield strength which make it a good choice for tubes, piping, and plant equipment that require welding.
ASTM B516 Gr. 625 Tubing can be welded by both manual and automatic welding methods, including gas metal arc, gas tungsten arc, electron beam and resistance welding. It presents good restraint welding characteristics.
Nickel alloy 625 tubing has good ductility due to which it can be readily formed by cold working. However it does work-harden rapidly so intermediate annealing treatments can be required for complex component forming operations.
In order to restore the best properties balance of Nickel alloy uns n06625 tube, all hot or cold worked parts should be annealed and rapidly cooled.
SB 444 uns n06625 Seamless Tube are useful marine applications, aerospace equipment, nuclear technology and industrial processing.
