Maraging Steel 300 Alloy Steel Plate

Maraging Steel 300 Alloy Steel Plate

Maraging Steel 300 Plate is a vacuum induction melted and vacuum arc re-melted, low-carbon, nickel-cobalt-molybdenum high-temperature nickel alloy.
maraging steel 300 material can produce yield strengths in excess of 270 ksi through simple, low-temperature heat treatment at 900°F. It also exhibits good ductility at high strength levels, displays excellent notch ductility and outstanding weldability.

C300 maraging steel sheet is a nickel/cobalt steel alloy that is essentially carbon-free, other alloying elements include moly, aluminum and titanium. This combination creates a superior maraging steel that maintains numerous beneficial features such as high strength & toughness, ultrahigh tensile strength, extremely tough.

Due to its low carbon content, maraging 300 alloy steel provides good machinability and the ability to be cold-rolled up to 90% without cracking. It also provides excellent weldability when aged following treatment to the heat-affected zone.

Vascomax 300 has strength and malleability in the pre-aged stage which allows it to be more easily than other steels, reducing weight for a given strength.

Vascomax c300 also maintains very stable properties and will only soften slightly when overaged due to excessive temperature reception.

Grade 300 maraging steel also has an excellent strength-to-weight ratio so it can be used for high strength structural applications that include aircraft land gear components and for numerous defense and military purposes. Some of the applications are aerospace, die casting, extrusion tooling, missile & rocket motor cases, high performance shafting, gears & fastener.
c300 nickel cobalt maraging alloy can be annealed at 1038°C after cold working and then finally cooled in air. It can be cold worked and welded by conventional methods. It can be hot worked in temperatures ranging 260 to 93°C.
