Super Duplex Flanges
super duplex flange material is one of a group of "super duplex" grades which has a combination of high strength with exceptional corrosion resistance.
Like other duplex (ferritic/austenitic) grades the Super Duplex 2507 flanges are not suitable for high or low temperature service.
Super Duplex flange is a method of connecting pipes, valves, pumps and other equipment to form a piping system.
super duplex steel flanges provides easy access for cleaning, inspection or modification. It is usually welded or screwed. It is comprised with three parts i.e, pipe flange, bloting and gasket. Its joints are made by bolting together two flanges with a gasket between them to provide a seal. It can be heated at 1040 - 1120°C and cool rapidly in air or by water quenching. A182 Super Duplex Flange is typically in welded or threaded form. It adds flexibility while maintaining piping systems by allowing for easier disassembly and improved access to system components.
Super Duplex Stainless Steel Flanges has good high temperature oxidation resistance, like other duplex stainless steels they suffer from embrittlement if held for even short times at temperatures above 300°C. It has low hot strength, so it may need support during heat treatment or forging. Hot forging should also be followed by solution treatment.
Super Duplex Pipe Flanges are of many types such as super duplex socket weld flange, super duplex lap joint flange, super duplex slip on flange, super duplex blind flange and super duplex weld neck flange, super duplex threaded flange, super duplex screwed flange, etc.
